This is the correct question to ask Sinclair, as he does not use that product at all, and had a falling out with the product.
RevGenetics must know the true story… Dr. Sinclair was unhappy that the company was advertising that he was taking Longevinex in 2003 and told them to stop. Dr. Sinclair reported to the Immortality Institute executive (then the treasurer) that he continued taking Longevinex for years after that issue was resolved. Many say that he started taking SRT 501 in 2007 or early 2008.
Here is the story:

RevGenetics knows no one monitors this site, so he feels free to ask unfounded loaded questions like "Why does Dr. Sinclair appear to hate Longevinex?"
And since the Longevinex site is still up and running, it seems obvious that the owner is interested in selling the product.
There are many quality resveratrol products on the market now, and maybe RevGenetics can explain why the company has resorted to asking such a loaded question.
Since Dr. Sinclair has never hinted he hated Longevinex but instead took it for 3 years proior to taking what others report to be his own SRT 501, the question is ridiculous.

Dr. Sinclair, why do you appear to hate Longevinex products now?
It appears that you used to take Lonvgevinex, however you have now switched to something else and appear to hate the Longevinex product now, and maybe have considered suing Bill Sardi or the "Resveratrol Partners" company at one point in the past. If this assumption is in fact is correct…
(I know this is probably never going to be answered) but I do have to ask: What happened that caused this issue? I know Capsugel had a fall out with Bill Sardi (I spoke with people there so I know), and his only partner left him as well… it must have been quite a shake up or disagreement as it appears everyone decided to run away from Bill and his Longevinex product Maybe Bill was busy burning bridges for some other reason?
Bill's website was even taken down "http://www.knowledgeofhealth.com/" for reasons I assume were related to the advice once found there (he used to give a lot of advice about cancer I believe, which no supplement company really can do without getting into trouble).
And I have noticed that Bill has started to write much more articles not related to resveratrol, while google shows interest for his product has dropped. Bill was trained as a Journalist in school, so an increase in articles Lewrockwell may signify that he is going back to doing what he loves. I think he maybe working there, doing stories on interesting topics instead of selling resveratrol: http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/.
I don't fault him for doing what he loves and hope he feels less stressed. Maybe he just got sick of free resveratrol scams, and doctor's switching their patients to using his competitor's products (I know this happened on at least one occasion), or simply needed a less stressful life. I can only guess at the reasons he concentrates on his articles at this time.
Lately he has been getting away from talking about his Longevinex product, and focusing on Vitamin D instead. He has spent resources on his new website http://www.thevitamindstore.com/ which has nothing to do with resveratrol but sells everyone else's products, and of course Life Span Nutrition in San Dimas, where he lives http://www.lifespannutrition.com/. When you search these sites you will notice that he doesn't even sell his own longevinex product. The only resveratrol product shown on his websites is something called the "Mediterranean Diet Resveratrol Formula" and not his Longevinex capsules. That product only has 5mg of resveratrol from polygonum, while the price is $46.95 (Link) or $42.25 if you buy it from Bill's website. The price (and info regarding what he is selling on his own websites), says a lot in my book regarding the issues he maybe facing.
It certainly possible that he is slowly walking away from Longevinex himself, as many more cheaper and better variety of products have surfaced.
I am interested in your view on this, if you ever get a chance to let us know.
(P.S. Excuse the typos guys, just trying to explain my personal opinion about a lot of things, in a little post…)

You yourself say "this is probably never going to be answered"
So why ask?
It is still called a leading question. It is crap coming from a competing vendor and insulting to his intelligence.
It is putting words into Dr. Sicnlair's mouth as a question. Why not ask "What do you think of Longevinex?"
You don't, because you know that he won't respond but you can put it in a title.
Are you ever going to apologize to Dr. Sinclair for the post you made at the Immortality Institute Resveratrol Forum that implied he recommended 250mg – 500mg of resveratrol a day when his e-book explicitly said to consider a maximum of 250mg? Why not ask him why he took 300-400mg of longevinex for three years but then said consider a maximum of 250mg of resveratrol?
one should know that Dr. Sinclair reported that he took just over 300mg of Longevinex for three years — mid 2003 to 2006. After that, it is reported that he started taking Sirtris' SRT 501.
"Last November [2006], Loew (ImmtInst Treasurer) said in an online forum that Sinclair had emailed him: "I take 4 pills of longevinex with bfast and 4 at dinner, but I don’t recommend anyone else take any resveratrol pills until we know more." (Note: late last month, the manufacturer raised the amount of resveratrol per capsule, so Sinclair’s reported eight pills would be equivalent to 3.2 now. Either way, his reported regimen amounts to about 320 mg daily.)"
http://www.world-science.net/e…..ratrol.htm
By the way, I am sad to see how RevGenetics has handled himself here and at times on the Immortality Institute forum, especially using Sinclair's name to suggest a higher dose than he actually recommended, but I still think RevGenetics along with Biovitia, are quality products for those interested in taking them.
I only take Longevinex because Dr. Sinclair did for three years, and I have been happy with it for over twio years.

FM2020: Legal counsel was addressed regarding this question and content. No issues according to counsel, so your opinion is just that, an opinion. So, you need to wait your turn now, since all you want is attention. The answer to your question about Orchid has also not been answered by Sinclair, I can only assume Longevinex was the cheap low purity alternative between 2003-2006 that Sinclair could afford for himself, while Orchid was highly purified trans-resveratrol that was highly expnsive to make and buy. Certainly out of the budget of most people. Again, my assumption until Sinclair answers your question. For now, can you take a pill and wait your turn instead of wanting so much attention? Didn't you once say that you had a mental issue that requires you to look after your actions? Maybe you need to take a break.

RevGenetics,
Please answer: are you ever going to apologize to Dr.
Again,
I think it is childish to say Dr. Sinclair "hates Longevinex"
Isn't that putting words into Dr Sinclair's mouth?
one should know that Dr. Sinclair reported that he took just over 300mg of Longevinex for three years — mid 2003 to 2006. After that, it is reported that he started taking Sirtris' SRT 501.
You can read it for yourself here:
Feb 2007
"Last November [2006], Loew (ImmtInst Treasurer) said in an online forum that Sinclair had emailed him: "I take 4 pills of longevinex with bfast and 4 at dinner, but I don’t recommend anyone else take any resveratrol pills until we know more." (Note: late last month, the manufacturer raised the amount of resveratrol per capsule, so Sinclair’s reported eight pills would be equivalent to 3.2 now. Either way, his reported regimen amounts to about 320 mg daily.)"

FM2020 1-) your new question was answered in the imminst.org forum. Search there 2-) You continue to mistype the question. It is not a statement, let's be accurate shall we? Do you know the difference?

RevGenetics,
Seriously, are you ever going to apologize to Dr.
Again,
I think it is childish to say Dr. Sinclair "hates Longevinex"
