A consumer asked what the ideal dose might be, and RevGenetics quoted Dr. Sinclair along with a neurosurgeon, both saying something about 250 – 500mg, right? But Dr. Sinclair did not recommend taking more than 250mg as is crystal clear by his ebook statement. So putting those two statements together makes it appear that 250-500mg is Dr. Sinclair's recommendation.
But when RevGenetics asked Dr. Sinclair specifically about 250mg as a maximimum, he responded that more than 250mg would be venturing into greater unknown territory. Does this seem like a recommendation of 250g to 500mg? Does RevGenetics think Dr. Sinclair would be happy with the way RevGenetics answered the question at the ImmtInst where his company advertises? Taking his quote and not revealing the full exchange here??
I agree it would be interesting to hear from Dr. Sinclair why he took about 300mg of resveratrol (this is close to his maximum recommendation, though) and chose a blend like Longevinex, or why he helped with a blend with Vivix where I believe there is 100mg of resveratrol in that blend. Maybe he will respond.

Again, you can say I misled folks , however I don't believe I did at all. I posted a quote from Dr. Sinclair after the eBook was published, and there are no issues with what was quoted from his site as you can see below.
While Dr. Sinclair doesn't have human studies of what happens to folks that take resveratrol over 3 months, he has taken it at doses greater than 250mg himself for years apparently. We also know that he is not an MD with patients, while Dr. Maroon is a neurosergeon with patients. There is also a 2 year history of folks taking 500mg or more at the resveratrol forum. The thread on "500mg" does have this information (Link). There is no "unknown territory" for folks like me that take more than 250mg, and have found it safe. I would venture to say, that Dr. Sinclair has found it personally safe as well, and even points out that his wife takes a high dose of resveratrol:
Here is the question:
RevGenetics posted on the Immortality Insitiute forum in response to a person who wondered what the optimum dose might be:
"Dr. Sinclair says that "the doses based on the mouse studies are 250 -500 mg per day" (From his site)
Dr. Maroon suggests between 250mg -500mg, but athletes should consider more. (From his book "The longevity Factor")"
Link to the Resveratrol Forum post:
http://www.imminst.org/forum/W…..34739.html
Here is your question and the answer to it:
Question: What would Dr. Sinclair make of RevGenetics' statement here? Would Dr. Sinclair think it represented what he wrote with respect to his suggested maximum of 250mg in his ebook, and in his follow up directly to RevGenetics about higher doses would be venturing into "greater unkonwn territory"?
Answer:
Dr. Sinclair wrote the following after publishing the eBook, I consider it an addendum:
"The e-book download goes into this in detail – it states that the doses based on the mouse studies are 250 -500 mg per day. There are a few reports of resveratrol thinning the blood. I've not read any severe side effects of 1 gram per day.Has anyone had negative side effects we should look for?" – Dr. Sinclair
"Revegenetics – one reason may be that the human studies are only short term (~3 mo) and the long term effects of resveratrol in healthy people over years are not yet known. Taking more than 250 mg, therefore, is venturing into greater unknown territory, which might be safe but would be a personal choice." – Dr. Sinclair
Dr. Sinclair probably would say that it's a personal choice, since he has stated that his wife takes high dose resveratrol and Dr. Sinclair takes takes a dose greater than 250mg. Your best friend who says he met him on TV, even said Dr. Sinclair takes 1 gram a day.
Remember, Dr. Sinclair continues to work for a drug company that would seek to benefit from high powered / high dose version of resveratrol. I believe he walks a fine line because of this. One needs to consider his posts after the ebook was published, his personal intake, as well as the comments about his wife.
Yes I definitely think he would say it's a personal choice, I am not sure he can say otherwise because of GSK.

RevGenetics,
Since you misled the Immt Inst resveratrol forum by quoting Dr. Sinclair out of context, and didn't state information you knew contradicted what you wrote, why not just own up to it and apologize to him? Very simple.

Since these 3 posts below answer all the issues you have presented, I will simply repost these whenever you post the same messages, yes my responses will be the same. So why not wait until Sinclair answers you very first post, so that you can re-assess what you want from this forum?
My answers again…
There is no game at imminst.org, the moderator's have created rules and folks need to work within that framework.
Since you have been kicked out a couple times now, I would have expected you to have learned the rules just like I did after I initially joined the forum. I learned the rules, and just like rules in society I make an effort to follow them unless I want to be ostracized (or kicked out). I obviously post using my real name.
Again, it is very rare that folks get kicked out. Yet… you managed to do it twice? Maybe you should post under your real name next time when you are hired to market for a company, It helps limit the types of comments you post.
Again…correct me if I am wrong, but isn't your real name John Holmes? Aren't you a PPC Executive, SEO and social media specialist? Maybe I am wrong but aren't these your companies (or companies you work for)? http://www.zoomerang.com/ , http://www.pixelsquare.com.au/. Heck, maybe even… http://www.guava.com/
So far you haven't denied these things.
From the looks of it, it would appear you where hired to do repetative posts for SEO purposes, to help show Adwords for the company you work for at the bottom of the imminst.org website.
Now that I have asked my questions to you, here are some facts:
09/01/2009: Looking back, it is funny I was the first to welcome you to the board as "Opendoor", while not knowing you were "Holmes": http://www.imminst.org/forum/i…..p;p=344670
09/06/2009: Here ws the first time you asked about Sinclair taking 300mg, as Opendoor (You started playing your marketing game again) and where trying to create credibility with your new sock puppet account:
http://www.imminst.org/forum/i…..ntry345492
09/06/2009: Here is where I first asked you to look up the arguments about Holmes, since at the time you seemed to be presenting the same arguments (of course I was right, since you were now playing your game with a new sock puppet account): http://www.imminst.org/forum/i…..p;p=345966
To sum it up:
The only game I see is you asking for information as "Opendoor", that you already know about since you also posted as "Holmes" while repeating your marketing over and over.
I believe you were promoting it for SEO purposes so "Adwords" can show up at the bottom of the Imminst.org website. That is why you were being so repetitive, and mentioning your company (I even see the words "Prescription free" in one of your posts that totally sounds like a marketing slogan in the SEO advertising you were making at the forum). No consumer uses these words in regular conversation when describing a product to others…
I even mention your repetitive statements as "Holmes" here while you were playing your sock puppet game: http://www.imminst.org/forum/i…..p;p=333084
Again… how can anyone consider your statements as Holmes, Opendoor or FM2020 credible when you try to play your sock puppet games for marketing purposes?

Could you just explain why you failed to include the information about what Dr. Sicnlair said in his ebook with respect to 250mg being a maximum to consider, and that he posted directly to your question that going over 250mg would be venturing into greater unknown territory?
Did those two statements just happen to slip your mind, RevGenetics?
Do you think your statement at the Immortality Institute appears honest to those reading there?
Don't you think you owe Dr. Sinclair a small apology?…. "I'm sorry I took your quote out of context to make it seem that you recommended 250mg to 500mg"

RevGenetics thinks that he has mastered the game of quoting out of context, but he hasn't. This is the type of thing that Dr. Sinclair is encouraging consumers to be on the watch for. If one of RevGenetic's competitors answered the dosage question to a consumer the way RevGenetics [Antony L.] did at the Immortality Institute, I would have written the same messages.
We consumers do not like games from companies.
For those interested, there is some very good information at the ImmInst resveratrol forum, but readers should be aware of the games played by RevGenetics and the moderator, Maxwatt when "blends" like Longevinex are mentioned or when higher dosages are questioned . Both sell resveratrol.
Some young biochemists like "prophets" post there, and while he would agree he has many questions about ideal dose, etc, it is obvious that he is not part of the game playing, just a curious person who posts. There are others taking 1g, and they aren't playing games either.

So, now you say that the "Prescription Free" comment is in fact your words, your sole response to a post. You are actually taking ownership of it?
Is that true?
I am glad my quote above pushed you in the right direction. So it appears you copied it from an article, and it was not the words of Loew at all, but an article about Dr. Sinclair and Bill Sardi, who now doesn't use the same formulation or the same capsules, he used to use for the protection of the resveratrol (as he puts it).
You did however use these, and other statements over and over again, in your marketing campaign. I am glad you are confessing a bit, and remembering your posts, instead of embarrasing yourself further.

It would have been nice if RevGenetics had not played the game of capitalizing "Perscription Free"
I found the quote with respect to Dr. Sinclair:
"Nonetheless, he keeps taking the prescription-free Longevinex, according to an email attributed to him by Justin Loew, treasurer of the Immortality Institute, a San Francisco-based non-profit group that promotes anti-aging research."
http://www.worldhealth.net/new…..ses_anima/
I hope RevGenetics reconsiders, and offers an apology to Dr. Sinclair for the way his dosage quote was taken out of context at that resveratrol forum and matched with another doctor's recommendation.

"Perscription Free" [sic] out of context since it was in response to a forum member discussing SRT 501,(and other potential products in development in Dr. Sinclair's lab) which was rumored to need a perscription if released.

The silliness of RevGentics's games…
At first, Revgenetics tried to provide a link, but it didnt click on to anywhere. The scan of the quote was also just an "X" so I had no idea what he was talking about. Furthermore, RevGenetics used the quote "Perscrption Free" in capital letters, and I couldnt possibly think why I'd ever write it that way, as if an advertisement like "Fat Free"
But alas, RevGenetics, who took Dr. Sinclair's dosage quote out of context to make it look like that was a recommended amount instead of clearly explaining why he thought at this time he could recommend 250mg as a maximum, also took "Perscription Free" [sic] out of context since it was in response to a forum member discussing SRT 501,(and other potential products in development in Dr. Sinclair's lab) which was rumored to need a perscription if released.
It is unfortunate that RevGenetics chose to deliberately take Dr. Sinclair's quote out of context and place it on a forum where such nonsense is protected by the moderators who support their advertiser. I think a simple apology to Dr. Sinclair would be appropriate.

What, no link?
You first said I didn't have a link and said you never posted such a thing… I then posted a link and image to it, showing your own post.
I then ask you for a link to verify that you are not fibbing… and you can't come up with one that shows the language used by Loew? You, say it was a response? Even though you clearly stated:
I have never typed "Prescription free" anywhere. Just more games, and on Dr. Sinclair's forum.
Again you just can't seem to get out of this hole you dug yourself into, or even admit you lied to everyone here.
When it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck…
well, you again prove that you are clearly a marketing shill.

RevGenetics games are tiresome.
I just wrote: "The 'prescription free' was made in response to the post above it by one who was discussing the potential GSK pills (SRT501, etc) that were thought may require a perscription from a doctor to treat diabetes, etc. "

RevGenetics, not surprisingly, has claimed I said something I never did.
" …and Dr. Sinclair takes takes a dose greater than 250mg (according to your statements)."
No, I have written that Dr. Sinclair was taking 320mg of Longevinex from 2003 until at least November 2006. That is not the present tense.
The 'prescription free' was made in response to the post above it by one who was discussing the potential GSK pills (SRT501, etc) that were thought may require a perscription from a doctor to treat diabetes, etc. if they are available in a few years. Both of those are blends, as is Vivix.
I think an apology to Dr. Sinclair is in order for using his quote out of context along with a neurosurgeons' recommendation, that makes it look like both recommended people take 250mg to 500mg when RevGenetics clearly knew he was withholding information that showed 250mg was Dr. Sinclair's maximum recommendation.
Consumers don't like games including partial quotes out of context that mislead what the person intended to say. My guess is that Dr. Sinclair does not appreciate that game either.

RevGenetics didn't post a reall working link, so I can't check what he is talking about. I have never typed "Prescription free" anywhere. Just more games, and on Dr. Sinclair's forum.
Hmm… seems like the darn image broke when I posted it initially. It's fixed now. Can you provide a link to the quote because it certainly looks like you added the prescription part, as I can't imagine Loew doing it:
