A scientist at Columbia U, who did one of the sirtuin studies in mice says that the mice have a longer fertility period, but he hasnt measured it carefully. Im not sure if its been tested with resveratrol. Maybe men have an ED response since sirtuins affect the same pathways as viagra.

Lovecats, I read that resveratrol can have estrogenic properties but that that study is not reproducible. Resveratrol does resemble estrogen in its structure. Im not too concerned but I dont think resveratrol is safe for pregnant women; Motie.

Im curious if fertility is affected. If resveratrol is a mimic of CR, then it might cause infertility. If resveratrol preserves eggs it could extend fertility. I was unable to find any information on the web. Does anyone know?
Thanks, LC
