The synergistic effects of curcumin and resveratrol on xenografted colon cancer cells

Detroit, MI. John D. Dingell of the VA Medical Center publishes a paper in the journal Nutrition and Cancer on the synergistic effects of curcumin and resveratrol on xenografted colon cancer cells. They suspect the activity is due to attenuation of NF-kB activity. The conclude “Our current data suggest that the combination of curcumin and resveratrol could be an effective preventive/therapeutic strategy for colon cancer.”
