SCAM WATCH – Dr. David Sinclair sends a letter to Brian Weiss, CEO of FWM Laboratories, immediately cease and desist the use of Dr. Sinclair’s name or likeness in the promotion, advertising or sale of FWM products including Resveratrol Ultra and further to demand that FWM cease any use of the domain www.dr-sinclair-resveratrol.com and any other domains containing Dr. Sinclair’s name. A website located at www.resveratrolultra.com, FWM offers a “free trial of Resveratrol Ultra, which improperly uses a televised interview of Dr. Sinclair by Barbara Walters to suggest that Dr. Sinclair endorses Resveratrol Ultra. Likewise, FWM makes reference to Dr. Sinclair’s clinical research at Harvard in a deceptive attempt to substantiate its claims for Resveratrol Ultra, including an unsupported claim that resveratrol is effective in “fairly low concentrations.”
