SCAM WATCH – Dr. David Sinclair sends a letter to Brian Weiss, CEO of FWM Laboratories, immediately cease and desist the use of Dr. Sinclair’s name or likeness in the promotion, advertising or sale of FWM products including Resveratrol Ultra and further to demand that FWM cease any use of the domain www.dr-sinclair-resveratrol.com and any other domains containing Dr. Sinclair’s name.
Philadelphia. SCAM WATCH – GlaxoSmithKline issues a written warning to John Stogner and Larry Olson of Nature’s Source for issuance of a press release implying endorsement of Nature’s Source resveratrol by Dr. Christoph Westphal and Dr. David Sinclair.
Dallas, TX. Roberto Coppari’s lab reports in Endochrinology that administration of resveratrol to the brain of mice improves hypoerglycemia (pre-diabetes) in mice. They suggest that some of the effects of resveratrol are mediated via the hypothalamus in the central nervous system.
Oprah’s companies and Dr. Oz sue for allegedly false advertising and the “willful capitalizing on Plaintiffs’ valuable reputation.”
